Hi, I’m Talia! I’m currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, where I combine research with hands-on clinical work. I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology and a second degree in Religious Studies through a dual-degree program. My academic background and real-world experience give me a well-rounded perspective that I bring to my tutoring.
Throughout my education, I found that the most engaging classes presented material clearly, energetically, and made space for exploration. This is the approach I now bring to my teaching.
I’ve worked with children in a variety of educational settings, including supplementary schools, summer camps, and community centers. I also spent three years as a language tutor, helping students stay on track and build confidence. These experiences taught me how to make learning meaningful and developmentally appropriate.
In tutoring, I meet each student where they are by offering clear instruction, creative engagement, and time for independent practice. I always tailor my approach to fit each student’s needs and learning style.
I’m easy to reach and open to suggestions from students and parents alike. If you have questions or want to schedule a session, I’d be happy to connect!
