As a Biology major at a top university, I've taken a wide-range of STEM related courses, such as Chemistry, Genetics, Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology. Apart from my courses in the classroom, I've taken steps in my medical career to become certified in different medical specialties, including nursing. As a college student, I understand how difficult it can be to take multiple classes and have a lot on your plate, especially when you're struggling to master a new topic. My goal as your tutor is to simplify things that might be challenging, and tailor your experience to you, no matter what learning style you have. Whether you need practice problems, visual keys, or step-by-step breakdowns, I'm here to help you. Apart from my biology background, I'm also a minor in Spanish and happen to be fluent! I love teaching people about Spanish culture, or helping them master the basics of vocabulary or grammar. I know learning a new language can seem unapproachable, but my experience in multiple college-level courses and conversational Spanish will help you find a system of comfortable learning.
Outside of the classroom, I've been a soccer coach and mentor for multiple years now, which has taught me extreme patience and understanding for anyone learning something new. Everyone learns at a different pace, and I believe in making a positive and comfortable environment for learning that's tailored to your needs. Whether you need help just once a week or more often, I'm flexible and committed to your success inside and outside the classroom.
