Scoring a perfect 36 on my first and only try was a crucial component that made my college application stand out in a very competitive admissions cycle. However, behind this score were countless hours of hard work to prepare for test day, where I significantly improved my test taking capabilities. I believe anyone with a strong mindset and willingness to improve can achieve their target score like I did. As I have seen firsthand, strong standardized test scores can have a profound impact on college admissions. I am committed to assisting others in achieving the same.
I’ve worked with students through volunteer tutoring at a local charter school and also designed and taught an original ethics curriculum for 8th graders. These experiences have taught me how to meet students where they are and support different learning styles with patience and clarity. As an ACT tutor, I begin by giving students a placement test to understand their baseline and identify areas of weakness. From there, I develop a targeted strategy and introduce specific materials and practice tools to strengthen their skills section by section. My goal is to build both confidence and competence leading up to test day.
