“Teach the way you would want to be taught.” That’s the core of my tutoring philosophy. I focus on making sure every student truly understands each step of what we’re learning—no rushing, no guessing, just clear, thoughtful guidance at a pace that works for them.
I believe every student learns differently, and my favorite part of tutoring is discovering those unique strengths.
I’ve been a tutor for nearly a year and a half, and I’m also a lifelong learner myself. With a master’s degree, over eight years of experience in graduate education and over thirty years as a museum professional, I know how to create engaging lessons—even for students who’ve struggled to connect with traditional approaches.
Whether your child is shy, energetic, visual, or hands-on, I’m here to support them and cheer them on. Let’s make learning easier, more effective and fun together!
In addition to teaching verbal lessons, I bring a rich background as an art historian and curator, with hands-on experience teaching college survey courses covering all major art periods. Growing up in an artistic family, I developed a lifelong passion for art that deepens my understanding and appreciation of art history.
I specialize in helping students prepare for quizzes, tests and exams and write well-crafted papers across all art periods—from ancient through contemporary art. Whether you need guidance analyzing artworks, understanding historical contexts, or structuring academic writing, I tailor sessions to your individual goals and learning style.
