I hold degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, and I currently teach Computer Science at the City University of New York - specifically at Brooklyn College and the College of Staten Island, home of the CUNY supercomputer. In addition to teaching, I’m a software engineer in fintech, and I have professional experience at major companies including JPMorgan Chase, UBS, and even a year working on a NASA project!
My passion for teaching began during my undergraduate years, when I started tutoring mathematics. Since then, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of levels and backgrounds - from middle school learners building foundational skills to college students tackling advanced coursework. I regularly tutor subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, AP Computer Science, and university-level topics including data structures and algorithms. My approach is personalized and structured: I aim to meet each student where they are, clarify difficult concepts, and support them in building lasting independence.
I typically meet with students on a weekly basis, increasing frequency as needed around exams, projects, or key deadlines. I usually meet online, but I can meet in person in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or near the College of Staten Island. Whether your goal is to boost grades, prepare for standardized tests, or master a challenging course, I’m here to help you succeed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions - I’d be glad to support your learning journey.
