I am an RIAA Certified Gold music producer and graduate from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. I've worked with a number of artists across many genres and have spent thousands of hours in the studio across Pro Tools, Ableton, FL Studio, and Logic (as well as with tape and analog recording). I also work on my own music which tends to be more electronic dance/hip hop leaning, while my work with artists is often live recorded material with bands somewhere in the mix of folk, rock, and pop.
I also have experience teaching music production: at NYU I was a teacher's assistant for music production and engineering classes for the summer high school programmed offered at the Clive Davis Institute of recorded music where I'd help high schoolers learn signal flow and production workflow in DAWs. I have also worked with high school students in private tutoring for beat making and music production basics.
I'm committed to helping students follow their passion for music production since that's what got me started and keeps me going today. Whatever genre or approach they're into is something that I likely have experience with and am happy to dive into with them to make lessons as worthwhile as possible. If that's making beats, making professional DJ ready EDM tracks, or talking philosophically about what's made certain records successful and what a producer's role is, I'm stoked to be a part of someone's journey in music and help however I can.
