Although it was awhile ago... I graduated valedictorian of my 600+ student high school class and continued my education at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, where I earned a BBA and a minor of History & Policy. The skills I leveraged in my 15+ AP courses, dual enrollments at local universities while in high school, and ultra-competitive classes at UMich are still very present in my life today and are skills I help others master, too: organization, curiosity, and problem solving.
Tutoring is a meaningful part of my journey in education. I currently volunteer as a writing advisor with Minds Matter NYC, helping high school students develop strong writing skills and stand out in their college applications. At Michigan, I also served as a teaching assistant, supporting students in writing-intensive courses and was the development lead for my sports-consulting student organization, where I built and taught a professional development curriculum to new joiners of the club. These experiences showed me how powerful one-on-one learning can be — not just for academic success, but for building confidence and curiosity. It truly takes a dedicated network to empower students to achieve their goals.
