I currently hold the teaching license to teach in NYC, and am a public school teacher teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry.
This is my first time teaching as an actual teacher in school, but I have more experiences in tutoring students. My total tutoring experiences can count for up to almost 3-4 years. For example, I am currently teaching pre-calculus to one student in high school. I have also worked with college student with his college level precalculus, and some elementary students with their school math. Not only that, I also worked as an interventionist for 3rd to 5th graders in groups of four in a school to help them understand mathematics better.
As a teacher, I take importance in enjoyable classes. If the class is boring, students won't learn. I try to bring the content we learn to the real-life examples so you can also engage in understanding both math and the world. I also provide extra works for you to practice mathematical skills in order to master them at your own pace. The load of work can be adjusted after we talk too.
I know math is such a complex subject, and I totally agree with that. However, it can be made easy. With me, I will help you by providing resources and helps you need to handle mathematics without problem.
