I grew up in Vancouver, Canada, where I was in French immersion school from the ages of 6-17 (every class was in French). Since I have kept up my French fluency by taking various French classes in college and speaking the language on a daily basis. English, being my first language, was always a strong suit for me and contributed to my ability to succeed at a liberal arts college where I took around 10 English courses mainly focused on essay writing and professional language.
Currently, I work in private wealth management, using my mathematics skills and economics degree on a daily basis. I am a part of our training and mentor program and teach new hires our systems and processes.
Being an athlete my whole life, I am a patient and a kind individual who is very determined. Growing up, I had lots of tutors and understand how vital they are in a child’s learning experience. I want to be able to help children succeed and the thought of being a part of a child feeling confident in the classroom brings me so much joy! I am approachable, intelligent and understand that every child will learn differently and am determined to approach each session to cater to each child’s needs.
