I was born in Saarbrücken, Germany and moved to Greece as a child, where I grew up bilingual and bicultural. I always had a passion for German, so I studied German Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. After University, I began teaching German language in Greece, and then all over the world.

I was born in Saarbrücken, Germany and moved to Greece as a child, where I grew up bilingual and bicultural. I always had a passion for German, so I studied German Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. After University, I began teaching German language in Greece, and then all over the world.
In total, I taught German for 19 years to native Greek, Dutch, and English speakers all across various levels and ages, in small groups, one on one, in classroom setting and online. With my student-centered methodology, I help students feel confident with German language and culture.
I lived in Washington DC for 4 years, where I received Praxis II certification in German Language, and taught diplomats and private students at two different institutions: Diplomatic Language Services and Berlitz. For my numerous diplomat students, I prepared them to achieve certain IRL levels, developed lesson plans on daily basis, used level appropriate topics and activities for their exams. For my private students, I prepared them to learn basic conversational German and reading comprehension skills. I additionally educated students about German culture and traditions.
Recently, I moved to New York where I am teaching at the German School New York and I am tutoring private students.
