Hi! I’m Brant, currently pursuing a degree in Economics with minors in Sociology and Entrepreneurship at Wake Forest University. My passion for mathematics and helping others succeed has led me to tutor students in my local community, particularly in SAT and ACT math subjects.

I’ve consistently achieved an 800 on the math section of the SAT multiple times, both as a high school and college student. This accomplishment has allowed me to help other students reach their potential, whether they are preparing for standardized tests or looking for additional math support.

In addition to tutoring, I also have experience teaching high school and early undergraduate students remotely through the Columbia School of Business immersion program. This opportunity has enabled me to work with students of various skill levels and learning styles, further refining my ability to teach complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and learn at their own pace. I break down challenging topics step-by-step and ensure that students feel confident in applying what they’ve learned. Whether you're aiming for a top score on the SAT or ACT or need extra help with your math coursework, I’m here to help!

In my previous roles, I tutored students both one-on-one and in group settings, providing personalized guidance tailored to each student’s needs. I facilitated learning in a structured yet supportive environment, ensuring that students not only understood core concepts but also developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My experience has provided me with insights into diverse learning styles, and I utilize a variety of approaches—ranging from direct instruction to interactive discussions and real-world applications—to ensure students stay engaged and grasp the material thoroughly.

Knowledgeable and helpful tutor

Brandt was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my son. He provided him help in preparation for a macroeconomic college exam the night before the exam. Without prior interpersonal experience with Brant he was able to reassure my son, work and explain him concepts and work through pre test questions that provided my son tremendous clarification. My son took his exam an was extremely confident about the materials because of Brant’s help. Excellent tutor, if I could have given him a BILLION STARS I would have. A BILLION STARS AND A BILLION THUMBS UP for this tutor. We will continue to work with Brant.

Expert in college application process

I contacted Brant to help my high schooler with her college application process. He was very helpful in coming up with a detailed plan and following it up - to ensure that she completed all the assigned tasks. He had multiple sessions with her and brainstormed about various aspects of the essay and personal statement. He also helped her with all the counseling and hand-holding that was required to complete the application (including proofreading all the work). She completed the submissions well before the early decision deadline and I am thrilled !!! Thanks Brant!!
