I am a multidisciplinary artist who works in a variety of mediums: a filmmaker, artist, photographer, singer and writer. I've been published in numerous online and print publications and undertook my MFA in creative writing (Fiction and Non-Fiction) at The New School, where I worked as the Reading Series and Chapbook Competition Coordinator. My poetry collection, Living Without Skin, was released with A Gathering of The Tribes, Fly By Night Press and featured at the Whitney Biennial in 2022.

For my research project and forthcoming book about women and writing, I interviewed over thirty women who write including Sandra Gilbert, Gayatri Spivak, Tara Moss, Hettie Jones, Lynne Tillman, Julie Powell, Penny Arcade, Martina Löw and Florence Howe.

I previously taught at BMCC and Pace. I have experience teaching writing at other places such as Still Waters in A Storm, the Bronx Neon Center, The New School, Hofstra and at PS 20 Anna Silver. I have been a PEN prison-writing mentor, taught English as a second language and taught private writing workshops. I currently teach creative writing at a community garden. My teaching style is more pull than push. I believe education and writing are fun and my enthusiasm for English, writing, reading, research and rhetoric (attitude preceding information) encourages my students. My event coordinating/reader curating experience and editorial skills is complementary to my pedagogy.
