Peter is an excellent tutor as he has been very helpful with my CFA prep for Level 1. It was especially helpful with the Quantitative Methods section and Corporate Issuers. I would recommend it for others wanting to prepare for the Level 1 CFA! Peter is very flexible in his availability to his students.

Peter is an amazing tutor
Peter is an amazing tutor because of his patience and flexibility. I've had issues in the past with teachers or tutors who are not patient about questions or don't answer questions well, but Peter has shown himself as consistently open to questions and works on explaining a concept from multiple perspectives if the first explanation doesn't click. I especially loved Peter's math practice problems, as they were generally much harder than any of the types of problems that I encountered on actual SAT exams, so all the practice that I did made the exams feel much simpler. I really appreciated his preparation strategy for math as well, as he encouraged me to create a notes document with all the problems that I've struggled with, along with all the formulas and concepts that we had covered together. That way, a quick review for the test was made simple because I could just pull up my tutoring notes and see basically everything I needed to quickly review before the SAT exam. Peter also has very high quality insight regarding popular or frequently-tested math concepts on the SAT, and with his emphasis on certain concepts, I found myself quickly breezing through those types of problems on exam days. I also loved the way he broke down English test-taking strategies for me, and he was able to simplify the most important principles into very clear, easy to follow steps. Peter has also been able to briefly review ACT math concepts with me. I really appreciate that he has such a wide knowledge base on different standardized tests, and I also really love that he changes the lesson plan depending on feedback and different personal needs. Overall, I've really enjoyed my time with Peter as my tutor. On top of all of his teaching strengths, he is genuinely a funny guy and is good at keeping classes engaging, even when the material isn't the most inherently interesting. He is very encouraging. I started my tutoring sessions with him very reluctant to even prepare for my SAT, as I wasn't happy with my score and felt that I was doomed to forever have a score that I was unhappy with. However, as a result of his positive attitude and encouragement, I felt much more motivated to study for standardized tests, especially since his encouragement and teaching made me genuinely feel as though a better score was on the horizon for me. I am truly grateful for the time that Peter has put in with me, and he's been a pivotal point of help for me within the college preparation process.

Patient and Understanding!
Peter is probably the best tutors I’ve ever had! More than that, he is a mentor and someone I can also consider a friend. Between all 57 hours that I’ve worked with him, he has provided me with excellent teachings and helped bump my SAT score roughly ~300 points to a 1420.He provides solid content for students and makes conversation throughout the lesson, so there's never a boring session. The format in which he teaches is accurate and it seems like he always knows exactly what points to hit. Peter is very patient and understanding, always taking the extra steps to help a student understand. For those who would like a tutor they enjoy talking to AND actually caring, Peter is the one.

He has done a wonderful job adapting his teaching style to suit both of my children, who are younger and at different learning levels.
