Wish I Started Sooner!

I started studying for the Series 7 in August of ’25 using Kaplan. Five months, two failed attempts, and nearly $1,000 in exam fees later, I realized the way I was studying just wasn’t working. I googled “Series 7 tutor” and came across Jason. My biggest issue wasn’t the material, it was understanding how the test is structured and how to answer questions the way FINRA wants. Jason completely changed my approach. He taught me how to think through questions, recognize patterns, and eliminate wrong answers instead of just memorizing information. One of the biggest values outside of the 1-on-1 sessions is access to Jason. He gives you his personal number and constantly encourages you to send him questions or concepts you’re struggling with between sessions. Being able to get quick guidance like that was an immense help. If you’re struggling with the Series 7 or coming off a failed attempt, I can’t recommend him enough. I only wish I had found him sooner.

I can’t recommend Jason enough as a Series 66 tutor. I’ve always struggled with tests and traditional schooling. I’m dyslexic and have had an inconsistent educational path, which left me with some pretty big gaps in my foundation. Because of that, studying for the Series 66 felt overwhelming at times. Jason completely changed that experience for me. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also patient, kind, and accurate in the way he teaches. What stood out the most is how he took the time to actually fill in my gaps instead of just pushing through material. He never made me feel dumb or embarrassed for not knowing something he made it feel normal to ask questions and work through concepts step by step. He was also extremely available and responsive. No matter when I had a question, he was there with a clear, human explanation—not just something copied out of a textbook. He made complex topics actually make sense. On top of all that, Jason is just a cool, wise, down-to-earth, real-deal guy. Easy to talk to, genuinely cares, and someone you actually *want* to learn from. Honestly, I’m kind of bummed to be finishing these tests because it means I won’t be working with him as much.
