Starting with a Bachelor’s in applied sciences graduating from Eastwick College in 2019, I proceeded to obtain various certifications (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, Registered Vascular Technician, MA, phlebotomy) to pursue my career in diagnostic medical imaging. I currently work at a nearby hospital and have worked across the country at various hospital locations during the pandemic.
Dating back to my time as a young student I always found joy in education. My first experiences being a tutor came in junior high school. I began tutoring students in the subjects I enjoyed the most whether it be science ( anatomy , biology, chemistry) or social studies ( philosophy, US history , World History) I joined an afternoon program to pair up tutors with students that needed extra help. I continued to tutor through out most of high school and college. At College in particular is where I got the most experience tutoring. I would spend about 2 hours at least two to three days a week sometimes all five days tutoring all subjects related to ultrasound such as Anatomy, ultrasound physics, medical terminology to name a few.
After graduating and several years of working in the field I moved into an educator role at several hospital locations and facilities throughout the country. Most of my students have been either in college currently or high school. Ages have ranged from 14-42 and I have always either meet at the students desired location or mainly online. I look forward to working with anyone that needs help!
