As a mentor, one of my stand out qualities is I am dedicated to continuous learning to further evolve my knowledge and those around me. To introduce my background experience, I will begin with my enriching experience both as a tutor and teaching assistant. I tutored for 3+ years during University and was a Teaching Assistant, for 1 year; one semester for Management and the second semester for Business Writing.
I graduated University with my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting. After graduation, I began my career working for one of the Big 4 accounting firms, specializing in Audit. I then transitioned to my current Financial Reporting role within one of the top ten global investment banks.
In my current role, I use excel and data analytics to perform daily reporting as well as monthly closing financial reports. In addition, I am the main point of contact for quarterly reporting with our oversees headquarters. My experience in this profession gives me the appreciation for balance in both analytical thinking and communication.
I value tutoring and helping individuals learn new skills that they will be able to use interchangeably for school and career advancement.
