Hi Everyone!
My name is Dylan (they/them). I've been tutoring elementary and special education students for the past 16 years, and am excited for the opportunity to support new students!
I have my BA in psychology and education from Barnard College of Columbia University, my MA in special education from Teachers College of Columbia University, and am now in a PhD program at the University of Pittsburgh studying special education, with a focus on working with autistic individuals. I also have extensive experience supporting queer and trans young people and their families.
I've been working in the disability field since I was a teenager, and find it incredibly rewarding. I've taught and volunteered in several different special education classrooms and schools in New York City, and I loved every minute of it! I left the classroom to work on my PhD, and I've been really missing working with young people the last few years so can't wait to be tutoring again.
I'm looking forward to working with you!
