My name is Varun Rangnekar and I am a second year dental student at Columbia University. I was a business analytics major, while also on the pre-dental track.
During college, I was a tutor, and supplemental instructor (SI), and also helped students with studying for the DAT. In college, I tutored in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. Most of my sessions were one-on-one, however, as a supplemental instructor I would lead bi-weekly courses where I had the ability to create a worksheet and teach the class important information that reviewed their previous lecture.
I obtained a 26 on my DAT exam. My breakdown is as follows: 27 on QR 24 on Biology 30 on General Chemistry 26 on Organic Chemistry.
I am available to teach both high school and college students. I understand the negative stigma around Chemistry, but I am here to help and excited to continue to tutor students and empower them with the confidence to excel in their courses.
