Hi! I’m Justin, a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Data Science & Analytics. I enjoy helping students make challenging material more manageable while building their knowledge and confidence.

I have one-on-one tutoring experience with elementary, middle, and high school students in the United States and Ireland. I tutor math from elementary topics through calculus, as well as SAT Math and Reading, homework, exam preparation, and foundational skills. I tailor each lesson to the student’s coursework and areas of difficulty.

Amazing tutor!! USE JUSTIN IF YOU WANT TO PASS ALGEBRA II

If you want to get a 99 on your next math quiz or test, use Justin as your tutor. Last week I had a math quiz which I was very eager to pass. I was already familiar with the material but didn't feel 100% ready for the quiz. Justin helped me understand the material within and I have never felt more confident before taking a quiz. I have recommended Justin to all my friends at school and I will definitely use him again in the future.

Very intelligent, kind, patient and knowledgable tutor

Justin is truly a gem! I was searching for a British Literature tutor who could help my son with an essay on *Beowulf*. My son had a rough outline and had selected quotes, but he was struggling to expand on his ideas and actually begin writing. He was experiencing what I would call “analysis paralysis,” and Justin knew exactly how to help him move past it. Justin was incredibly patient and focused not only on *Beowulf*, but also on teaching my son the fundamentals of writing a strong essay. One of the most helpful things he taught him was that writing does not have to be perfect the first time—the important thing is to get your thoughts onto the page and refine them later. He even explained that sometimes it is easier to write the hook after you have written the rest of the essay. These may seem like simple concepts, but they really helped change my son’s approach to writing and gave him the confidence to move forward instead of getting stuck trying to make every sentence perfect. Justin also helped my son organize his ideas and better understand symbolism, evidence, and analysis. He worked with the quotes my son had already selected and helped him think more deeply about their significance, while also pointing out additional symbolism my son had missed. Justin has an excellent vocabulary, is a beautiful writer, and, most importantly, knows how to explain these concepts in a way that is analytical yet relatable to a student. We had worked with another tutor earlier who mainly discussed the book at a high level but did not address the actual writing challenges my son was having. Justin immediately recognized where my son needed help and gave him practical tools he could use not only for this essay, but for future writing assignments as well. Justin has also been incredibly flexible with his schedule and has graciously accommodated some of our late and last-minute requests.
