Different approach, flexible to your needs, super encouraging
For STEP 1, Richard provided a very different approach from what my medical school was encouraging. I took a leap of faith and am glad that I did. He has a myriad of resources that are helpful for your own reference and spends session time teaching you high yield topics in a way that is easy to remember. He is also very flexible to your needs and can cater your study strategy to what you feel works best for you. He is also so encouraging which is something that is much needed during such a stressful time. Highly recommend.

I have been studying for the USMLE Step 1 for a while and it was not until I started tutoring sessions with Richard that my study pace picked up and I became more confident with the material for the exam. He is very knowledgeable with all of the resources you need for Step and is easy to coordinate with to set up a proper schedule. One of the biggest game changers for my preparation was helping me with a study plan that catered to my needs. It is efficient and most importantly something I am able to execute. With each session we check in on my progress, go over high yield questions and discuss important concepts that add on to my foundation for the exam. When I don't understand a concept he is very encouraging and able to teach it in a way that focuses on what is important. I honestly really recommend this tutor especially if you need that extra push for the exam.
