SO Helpful, even last minute!
I was connected with Vivek 2 days before I took the DAT, after a scare of a low score on a practice full-length with my exam that close. I threw a number of subjects at him, accepting that with only 2 sessions, my improvement might be limited. Vivek and I spent most of our time on the Quantitative Reasoning section which needed the most work, and hit GC and OC for clarification as well. We did around 50 QR questions, 20 GC questions, and skimmed over a practice OC exam in two sessions, comparing our approaches to questions and reasoning through the explanations. He was knowledgable in what content might be higher yield on the exam, having tutored for a couple years now and taken the DAT himself, so this was especially helpful in narrowing down my areas of focus in my short time with him. After my first session with Vivek, my QR score shot up 5 points from my previous attempt and was the highest it has ever been. Going into the official DAT exam, the QR section has never felt easier to me. Vivek was reassuring, helping me understand that while I knew my content very well, my biggest issue was a lack of confidence. I highly recommend Vivek for DAT tutoring, as he was so kind to make time to help me with little notice, and was the main reason I went into my exam confident and content with the hard work I put in.
