Hello, my name is Ji, and I graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA degree in Fashion. I also pursued studies at Central Saint Martins in London, which further enhanced my skills as an art teacher. I am proficient in teaching various aspects of fashion, such as portfolio development for art schools, drawing techniques, and other related subjects. Although my primary focus is on adult learners, I am also open to teaching art and design to children.
Art, in my opinion, is a medium for exploring one's identity and self-expression, without any limitations. I firmly believe that there are endless possibilities to be discovered together.
Throughout my career in the fashion industry, spanning over a decade, I have successfully established my own brand and secured partnerships with numerous international department stores and designer boutiques. I possess extensive knowledge of the entire process required to achieve such accomplishments, and I am eager to share this knowledge with you. Notably, my brand has received significant recognition, including multiple sponsorship wins from the Korea Fashion Association, as well as nominations as a FGI Rising Star Finalist from 2014-2016. Additionally, I was honored to be named a Samsung Fashion Design Fund Finalist from 2015-2017. In 2016, I was a finalist for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and received the CFDA Incubator 4.0 award. Currently, I am a proud member of the CFDA.
My ultimate goal is to impart my valuable experience to my students, allowing them to broaden their creative horizons and find joy in the world of art.
