Hi! I'm a seasoned math teacher and college/career access counselor with over 8 years of experience working with students. My passion lies in helping people build essential skills that empower them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

I would describe my teaching style as authentic and passionate. I make it a priority to present complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand and fun!

A bit about my background: I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. I pursued my undergraduate education at Boston College, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Mathematics and Computer Science. Subsequently, I furthered my education by obtaining a Master's degree in Mathematics Education from Relay Graduate School of Education, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

I have dedicated 2 years to teaching high school mathematics in the Miami-Dade Public School system, focusing on Algebra 1. I then spent an additional 3 years teaching in Hartford, CT. During my time in Connecticut, I taught various levels of mathematics, including middle school mathematics, high school Geometry, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2.

In 2020, I returned to my hometown, NYC, and spent 3 years teaching in the Charter School system. There, I taught a range of subjects, including Pre-Calculus, Algebra 2, and Geometry. Over the course of my teaching career, I've also been actively involved in tutoring. I've provided one-on-one tutoring across all the subject areas I've taught and conducted small group tutoring sessions. Additionally, I've assisted students in preparing for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and others.
