I am Zuzi! I am a Master of Engineering student at Cornell University studying Operations Research and Information Engineering (data science). I obtained my Bachelor's in Statistics and Computational Biology also from Cornell. Through my college experience, I realized that mastering material does not always happen right after a lecture. It is often in the deeper conversations with teaching assistants and professors during office hours and outside of class that the material truly clicks and becomes clear. I want to bring that same approach to my tutoring and create an environment where questions are encouraged, and we work together to refine your understanding beyond just memorizing facts from the initial lecture.
I am comfortable tutoring a wide range of subjects, including Math, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and programming languages such as Python, R, and Java. I have been a Teaching Assistant for several courses at Cornell and have experience working with a wide range of students. Also, having been a student at Stuyvesant High School, I am familiar with standardized tests like the SHSAT, SAT, ACT, PSAT, and subject tests. I have also helped tutored at SHSAT / SAT test prep centers in New York.
Whether you’re looking to boost your test scores, improve your coursework, or just gain confidence in a challenging subject, I am here to help you develop a strong foundation and a growth mindset. I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
