Hello! I offer lessons in music composition, theory, piano and guitar. All genres are welcome - students can decide to focus on one or all of these subjects.

I have a Bachelor's of Music from the University of North Carolina School of The Arts where I majored in composition. I also graduated from Weaver Academy, a performing arts high school where I studied recording engineering and music production. I am currently a graduate student at Mannes school of Music (The New School in NYC), majoring in music composition. I had had 8 years of music theory and aural skills training. I have composed for many chamber ensembles and orchestra. In addition, I also write songs and have recorded 2 albums. My primary instruments are piano, voice and guitar. The past year, I have taught music theory and composition in combination - but students are free to choose their specific area of focus.
