If you're looking for help with an essay, research paper, literary analysis, or college application essay, you've found the right place. Whether you have a great idea but don't know how to organize it—or you're staring at a blank page with no idea where to start—I can help.
I'm Laetitia (Le-ti-ci-a), a Columbia University graduate with a 3.9 GPA in Comparative Literature. During my sophomore year, I was awarded the Helen Marie Carlson Prize for Outstanding Writing, recognizing the strongest writing in my class.
For more than four years, I've worked one-on-one with middle school, high school, and university students to strengthen their writing skills across academic essays, literary analysis, research papers, and the Common Application. I've helped students write more than 120 essays by guiding them through every stage of the writing process: brainstorming ideas, developing thoughtful arguments, creating clear outlines, and transforming those ideas into polished, compelling writing.
Beyond academic writing, I specialize in college admissions essays. I've coached students admitted to universities including Columbia, Barnard, NYU, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Wesleyan, Boston University, and many others. Several of my students have also earned merit scholarships worth $20,000 or more.
My goal isn't simply to edit your work—it's to teach you how to become a stronger, more confident writer.
Every lesson is personalized to your goals, whether you're aiming for a higher grade, preparing for college applications, or developing writing skills that will serve you long after one assignment is finished.
I'd love to hear what you're working on.
