After taking the MCAT I took my unique preparatory techniques to work at some of the big name tutoring companies. What I discovered there was that they are more interested in a once size fits all approach to test prep. They teach strategies and tips, but don't hit the depth required to tailor a study plan to an individual student. This gap is exactly reflected in my higher rate. Because I tailor individual study plans to individual students and communicate with them around the clock, I do not take on too many students at a time. I love finding the fun in working hard and taking on challenges. I've tested different wellness and lifestyle strategies to excel both as an endurance athlete and as
a student.
Before attending med school I am taking two years to pursue research interest, specifically as it related to the genetics behind autism spectrum disorder- something I began looking into as an undergrad. I currently work as a research assistant in the Young Laboratory of Genetics at Rockefeller University in Manhattan.
I took the MCAT in August 2021 after complete self study. I received a 523(131,130,130,132) and began tutoring immediately after.
