Hi! My name is Liesha. I graduated as valedictorian of my high school and graduated with a 4.0 from Northeastern University with my Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience. I have experience tutoring and currently work for PALS Learning Center as a tutor. Throughout my high school classes, I learned that I always loved the classes that my teachers made memorable because it helped me perform better on my tests and further retain the information.

I try to remember this when I tutor by making lesson plans and introducing the content in a fun and creative way to ensure a pleasant experience. Then, I ensure that my students get time to ask their questions and practice the material on their own, but this will depend on each student and I will make sure to cater to their needs.

I have scored a 5 on my AP Calculus, AP Language and Composition, AP Biology, AP Psychology, AP Macroeconomics, AP US History in school and ended with all As in every one of my classes. In addition, I have college credits for math as I took a summer Calculus and Statistics class from a university. Furthermore, I received a full score on the math portion of the SAT. I also have received a 95th percentile score on the MCAT and have a strong basis for advanced science concepts.

I want to help out my students in the most beneficial way possible. I am easy to reach and will always provide fast responses. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson.

Liesha was incedibley helpful during our first lesson, I plan on continuing our sessions. She helped calm my nerves by being reassuring and optimistic throughout the entire session. I felt very comfortable asking questions, and she provided me very clear, detailed explanations that really clicked for me. Toward the end, she helped create an individualized, custom study plan tailored to my needs.
