Hello, prospective student of mine! I am currently in Dental School at Columbia University and though this might sound strange, I actually love chemistry. Maybe this does not sound strange to you but it does to me because when I took AP Chemistry in high school, I made a vow to never take Chemistry again. But it is amazing how a good professor can make all the difference and change your entire outlook on a subject. That is what I hope that I can do for you, with my ultimate goal of rendering myself completely obsolete. That is, I don't want to lecture at you but work with you to develop your own system and way of studying for new Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or Biology topics as they present themselves to you.
I completed my premedical science curriculum (Physics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biology) at Columbia University and finished with a 3.96 GPA. I also recently completed the Dental Admissions Test (DAT) and achieved a total science score in the 99.9 percentile. These are my qualifications but I fully understand that being good at a subject doesn't automatically make someone good at teaching said subject. I found that the key to succeeding in these difficult STEM classes was finding a system of studying that worked for me and I want to work with you to develop your own methodology for success in the classroom.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I am happy to work with you online or in person on the Upper East or West side of Manhattan.
