I recently earned my Master’s degree in Physics from the City College of New York and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Astronomy from Stony Brook University. At CCNY, I worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate physics courses, leading recitations, guiding labs, and helping students build strong problem-solving skills in mechanics and electricity and magnetism. I have experience working with high school and college students in classroom settings, small groups, and one-on-one sessions, including supporting math and AP-level courses at the high school level.

My teaching approach focuses on building real understanding rather than memorization. I break complex problems into clear, logical steps and emphasize the reasoning behind each step so students can apply the same ideas independently. Many students I work with initially feel overwhelmed, and I focus on strengthening their foundation and guiding them through structured practice.

For AP Physics, I take a structured and goal-oriented approach. I encourage students to come prepared with specific topics or problems so we can use our time effectively. Sessions focus on conceptual understanding, multi-step problem solving, and AP-style questions to prepare for exams.

In addition to standard math and physics courses, I can also help with discrete mathematics and advanced astrophysics topics such as cosmology, stars and radiation, galaxies, and computational astrophysics.
