I am a certified 3rd grade teacher with a strong background in elementary education, currently entering my second year of graduate studies at Relay Graduate School of Education, where I am pursuing a Master’s in General Education for Grades 1–6. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Siena College, and I bring a creative, student-centered approach to instruction that blends academic rigor with real-world relevance. As an educator, I believe in using the Danielson Framework for Teaching to guide my practice, focusing on creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students can grow both academically and personally.

Over the past two years, I have taught in a full-time classroom setting and have worked closely with students from diverse backgrounds and learning needs. I specialize in English Language Arts and Math for elementary students, with a strong emphasis on building foundational skills and fostering confidence. My teaching style is structured but flexible, I aim to meet students where they are while challenging them to reach their full potential. I’ve tutored students ages 8–12, both one-on-one and in small groups, often tailoring instruction to address specific goals such as improving reading fluency, strengthening number sense, or developing writing skills.

My experience inside and outside the classroom has helped me understand that learning is not one-size-fits-all. Whether I’m working with a struggling reader or helping a student master multiplication, I bring patience, empathy, and consistent encouragement to each session. My goal as a tutor is to help students succeed academically while also helping them develop the skills and confidence to become lifelong learners.
