I am a fourth-year osteopathic medical student with extensive experience navigating medical curriculum and examinations. My training spans foundational sciences through clinical rotations, with a strong emphasis on integrating physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical decision-making. Throughout medical school, I have worked one-on-one and in small-group settings with fellow medical students, helping them strengthen their reasoning skills and translate medical knowledge into exam and clinical performance.
My tutoring approach is case-based and designed to mirror how concepts are tested on the board exams. Rather than focusing on passive content review, sessions emphasize consolidation and mastery through realistic patient cases that unfold in stages. Students are guided to interpret clinical data, generate focused differentials, and make management decisions under conditions of uncertainty. Particular attention is paid to why certain answer choices are attractive, how to handle vague or overlapping presentations, and how to recognize recurring disease patterns that frequently appear on exams.
I work primarily with pre-clinical and early clinical medical students who feel comfortable with the material but struggle to apply it consistently in question-based exams. Prior to sessions, I review students’ weak subject areas, difficult concepts, and recent exam performance in order to design targeted cases that address multiple gaps simultaneously. My goal is to help students develop a structured, repeatable approach to clinical reasoning so they can approach board-style questions with confidence, efficiency, and clarity.
