My name is Jacob! I'm a senior at Binghamton University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, currently maintaining a 3.9 GPA. My interest in front office finance started freshman summer when I interned at a long/short equity hedge fund. I then interned in investment banking at Bank of America for my sophomore summer, which led to an offer from Blackstone, where I worked as a junior and will return full-time after graduation. Alongside my internships, I've taken courses in financial and managerial accounting, corporate finance, investments, fixed income, and derivatives.
I help lead Binghamton’s Investment Banking Bootcamp, where I build curriculum and teach a group of 30+ students weekly on how to break into Wall Street. This also involves one-to-one mentorship, mock interviews, resume reviews, and everything else to help students break into Wall Street. Since I joined leadership, our placement rate has risen from 35% to 75%.
Separately, I've worked as a one-on-one coach for a Wall Street coaching organization, individually mentoring over 20 students through technicals, behaviorals, and interview prep. Between both programs, students I've coached have gone on to receive offers from firms including Blackstone, Evercore, Bank of America, Moelis, Citi, and top private credit funds.
As a tutor, I combine real desk experience with classroom knowledge to make learning interactive and practical, adapting to each student's background and learning style so concepts stick, not just for an exam, but for the job itself. I'm flexible and easy-to-reach, whether you're chasing your dream job or an A in a class. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a session!
