I am a rising junior at Stony Brook University, majoring in biochemistry. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained significant research experience, particularly in the field of protein-protein interactions. My passion for biochemistry has driven me to excel in my studies, as evidenced by my 3.98 GPA. Additionally, I have served as an undergraduate teaching assistant (TA) for both general chemistry and biochemistry courses, where I have honed my ability to convey complex scientific concepts to my peers.

My teaching experience includes roles as an undergraduate TA for general chemistry and biochemistry. In these positions, I emphasize the importance of practicing problems to develop a solid understanding of the subject matter. I believe that hands-on practice is crucial for mastering chemistry concepts, and I often incorporate the use of whiteboards to facilitate active learning and engagement. This approach helps students visualize problems and solutions, making the learning process more interactive and effective.

I have had great success in improving the grades of the undergraduate students I have taught.
