Hello! My name is Zain and I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in biomedical sciences. In school, I was always interested in writing and science, so naturally, I enjoy teaching them.
I have approximately 2 years of tutoring experience which I did sporadically throughout school. This was all volunteer work with students of diverse backgrounds. I spent time at my community center working with refugee youth in elementary/junior high-level reading, writing, and math. Later, I was a math and science tutor for incarcerated students who were studying for their GED through a prison education program. Most recently, I have worked with refugees and immigrants as an ESL tutor.
My goal is to advance my students’ understanding of the subject matter and benefit them as much as I can. I am more than willing to utilize any suggested resources or learning methods that would allow me to adapt to my student's learning style. Feel free to contact me with questions.
