I have one year total of tutoring/teaching experience as I did Study Buddies where I worked with students K-5 helping them learn English, science, and math. This was in a classroom setting and I worked as a volunteer. I had the opportunity to work with students both one-on-one, and in small groups. I learned a lot from the teacher that I worked with and how to help students feel the best during tutoring sessions and how to make sure they gain the most knowledge. I know how important it is to give students a safe space and to help them feel encouraged to use their bright minds in the best way possible. I will always put my best foot forward in helping students excel in their learning and skill building so they can be the best versions of themselves.
