My name is Judy, and I am a retired certified teacher in New York State & New Jersey with close to 30 years of experience! My educational expertise includes teaching students, as well as acting as an adjunct professor. I currently work as a substitute teacher in several school districts at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels in Rockland County, NY. I currently work as a substitute teacher in several school districts at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels in Rockland County, NY. I seek to provide exceptional educational tutoring to students at the Elementary level and in Business Education.

My educational background and expertise includes a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Bridgeport in Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Business Education. After receiving my Master’s Degree, I taught students in grades 8-12 in the Hendrick Hudson School District. I also worked as an Adjunct Professor for Undergraduate Students at Westchester Community College, specializing in Business Communications. Throughout my educational career, I have acted as an in-home tutoring instructor coordinator, as well as a teacher providing services to students as an in-home tutor in a variety of academic subjects.

My desires to tutor arise from my love of the teaching profession and to continue providing students with the ability to achieve academic success. I have always found teaching to be a gratifying experience. As a teacher, I always strive to create an interactive setting where both the students and the teacher benefit and learn from each other. I am an enthusiastic and energetic individual who stimulates students and caters to the needs of all students. As an ACT test prep expert, I teach students for all sections of the ACT: English, Reading, Math, and Science. As a master decoder of the entire test, I classify each question type and strategy and teach it to students to help improve English scores. I teach fundamental grammar concepts that students are often lacking a solid understanding of what the rule is and how to implement it. I use official ACT practice questions as the primary resource to help students increase their ACT English scores. I frequently help students realize an average 8-10 point gain in the ACT English section alone through dedicated and regular test prep practice with me.

As an ACT test prep expert, I teach students for all sections of the ACT: English, Reading, Math, and Science.
