Organic Chemistry is an exciting field with applications that range from the design of new materials with novel applications to the development of ground breaking therapeutics for treating disease. I have a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and years of teaching experience at the college level, both as a Teaching Assistant and as an Adjunct and Assistant/Associate Professor. As part of my teaching experience, I have lead courses with >200 students and recitation sections of 15-25 students during which I would discuss key concepts and review problems. In addition, I have worked one on one and with small groups of students to provide additional help and guidance. I believe organic chemistry is best approached by focusing on solving problems using a handful of concepts. If you have any questions about my experience or teaching methods, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you! (Sorry, but I can not tutor NYU students.)
