Hi I'm Adán! I am an experienced Economics Tutor/Teaching Assistant with a history of working in the higher education industry. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree focused in Economics, from Purchase College, as well as some graduate studies done at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. I've worked for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth as a teaching assistant in their Hong Kong site for several years now and was a teaching assistant throughout my time in college.
Being part of a smaller department I was able to meet all my professors and become a trusted teaching assistant. This is what lead me to pursue work in teaching rather than following my classmates onto jobs in wall-street or offices. I'm always looking to learn so even if something is not directly within my skills I always try to do my own research to continue to expand my abilities. One of the most important things I learned in my undergraduate program was to learn how to research and find answers on my own. This is crucial since out in the real world there are no study guides or cheat sheets for exams. I always try to impart this onto my students so that even when I am not tutoring them they can continue to learn on their own whenever they have a question about a topic.

I have been a tutor/teaching assistant throughout my time in my undergraduate program as well as internationally. Tutoring students in Macro 1&2, Micro 1&2, Game Theory, The Mathematics of Money, and filled in to help fellow teaching assistant wherever possible.
