Hi! I am Moksha. I am a 4th year medical student. I tutored throughout my junior and senior years of high school in which I tutored high school students in Biology, Chemistry, and Algebra. I tutored throughout college as well. I aided with homework help, preparation for the AP and regents exams, and personal growth that the student was looking to achieve in a specific subject. I am a big believer in the idea that every student learns a different way whether that be auditory or visually. I adapt this into my style of tutoring and adjust my lesson plan accordingly. I like to be organized and allow enough time for the material to be taught and for the student to get practice in while being able to ask me questions. I want to be able to help students not only study and prepare themselves for the class they are being tutored for, but to also teach better learning and study habits that will be of immense help in the future!
Having completed my undergraduate degree and now almost finishing medical school I am well versed in various subjects and classes. I have taken AP Biology, Chemistry, Physics in high school and have taken Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics at a college level. I am very fond of science and deem it to be my favorite subject as I have a lot of passion for the sciences. Science is most definitely my strong suit as I have always received A's in all science classes. Science, partly, is about memorization in which I can aid in creating mnemonics that will help students remember different part of the cell, periodic table trends, etc.
I want to be as helpful as possible to the students that I tutor and will adapt to their learning style! I like to be organized and create lesson plans before the tutoring session so that we can maximize our time.
