I am a medical student at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine with a strong academic background in the sciences and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals. I earned a 512 MCAT score, including a 131 in Biological and Biochemical Foundations, placing me in the 99th percentile for that section. Throughout my academic career, I have excelled in biology, physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, and related coursework, and I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations tailored to each student's learning style.
In addition to my academic achievements, I have extensive leadership, teaching, and research experience. I currently serve as an incoming Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Teaching Assistant, where I assist medical students in mastering challenging clinical and anatomical concepts. I previously served as President of the American Muslim Medical Student Association (AMMSA), where I developed educational programming and mentored fellow students. I am also a published researcher, having contributed to scientific literature through my work on membrane transport and peptide delivery systems.
My tutoring approach focuses on building both knowledge and confidence. Whether a student is preparing for the MCAT, mastering high school or college biology, studying anatomy and physiology, or developing effective study strategies, I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that success comes not only from understanding content but also from learning how to think critically and approach problems systematically, and I am committed to helping students develop those skills for long-term academic success.
