I have studied Arabic at CUNY Hunter College for the last three years and am proficient in both Modern Standard Arabic used in news media, and Egyptian Arabic (widely understood across the Arab world). I am not Arab which makes it easier for me to teach the language as a second language. I have tutored over fifty students and will be a professor teaching Intermediate Arabic in the Fall at Hunter College.
