I've always had a deep interest in teaching. I've been the one sitting with my little siblings at the kitchen table, making study guides and flashcards for my class to follow, and I exhibit great patience and understanding for my students. Currently, I've been teaching lessons at Rocket Club Math for 4 months, and have done volunteer tutoring in the past, including an internship at GO Project. I work with students of all ability levels to help them approach problems in whatever way works best with them, and encourage rather than suppress their creativity. I love learning about not only what they know but who they are as people: their favorite TV shows, what they like to do as a hobby, their favorite colors, etc.
Please contact me if you'd like to work with me. I'm excited to meet the student!
