I would like to begin by addressing something before my qualifications; I am among the younger educators, especially at my level of expertise and prestige, who can be found on this platform. I would argue that this is not a hindrance, but a boon. None of my competitors has the same hands-on experience. I have taken the AP Exam as well as the NYS Regents Exam, which are still in practice today. I empathize with the needs of a modern student, for I am one.

I am a New York State–certified AP/Regents Social Studies educator who serves as the chair of the Social Studies department. I instruct AP U.S. History, as well as AP World and Global II Regents classes. Additionally, I have taught AP Economics, AP Government, Political Science, and Geography.

I have taught and tutored middle and high school students in classroom, small-group, and one-to-one settings for several years. Many of my students come for Regents Global and U.S. History or AP World, AP U.S., AP European History, and AP Economics test prep. Those who attended my sessions saw a 100% Pass Rate.

My classroom work and private tutoring focus on helping secondary students master Regents and AP expectations while building durable reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

My approach is structured and transparent. I start with a brief diagnostic to locate strengths and gaps, then map a plan with clear targets for thesis writing, sourcing, outside evidence, and argument development. In sessions, I model how to deconstruct prompts, annotate stimulus documents, and turn notes into DBQ, CRQ, LEQ, and SAQ responses under time limits. I use retrieval practice, guided outlines, and think-alouds to make reasoning visible.

Online sessions are interactive on camera with screensharing and live annotation. Evenings and weekends are available, and I offer a short intake to set goals and establish a plan before we begin.
