Hello, I'm Michael! I am an adjunct professor at Bryant and Stratton College, and I have over a decade of experience educating students in math, ELA, philosophy, writing, science, and test prep. I hold a B.A. in English in the Humanities and an M.A. in Philosophy from Holy Apostles College, graduating both times Summa Cum Laude. I am currently pursuing a PhD in the Humanities from Faulkner University.
I am convinced that learning is rooted both in the ability to think for oneself and in a real interest in the subject matter. Thus, I aim to facilitate the learning process, firstly through the cultivation of critical thinking skills and secondly through inspiring my students to take delight in learning. Furthermore, I adapt my teaching/tutoring style to the needs of my students, and I constantly strive to engage, inspire, and induce reflection. There is nothing more thrilling than inspiring others to take delight in learning!
So feel free to contact me if you want to schedule a lesson or if you have additional questions. I will always respond promptly!
