I am a certified high school science teacher with experience teaching Anatomy & Physiology, Forensics, Horticulture, and Regents Biology in New York City public schools. I hold a Master’s degree in Health Care Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Services with a concentration in Healthcare Administration . My academic and professional background allows me to bring real-world healthcare and scientific applications into the classroom, which helps students connect complex topics to careers and current events.

I currently teach students in grades 9–12 and have experience in both full-classroom and small-group settings. I use a student-centered approach that includes collaborative activities, article annotation, chunked reading, diagram analysis, case studies, and hands-on mini-labs. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence with scientific vocabulary, apply what they learn to real-world problems, and succeed on assessments like the Living Environment Regents. I’ve worked with students at all ability levels—from those needing extra support to pass their exams, to those aiming for careers in healthcare and science.
