I graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York with a BA in Computer Science with minors in History and Government. Starting after I completed my first course in Computer Science, I was a Teaching Assistant with the Computer Science department, a position I obtained through faculty recommendation and held for seven consecutive semesters. For my senior year, I was selected from a group of over 20 other TAs to serve as the department’s Head TA.
During high school, I routinely tutored classmates in a variety of subjects, but most frequently in Algebra 2 and AP Calculus. I love working with students and my goal is always to help students see the subjects they're studying not as boring slogs that they have to get through, but as fulfilling and worthwhile practices that represent the very best of what human beings have achieved.
I have a lot of experience tutoring classmates in upper level high school and lower level college math. This includes the Algebras, Pre-Calculus and Calculus up to the end of Calc 2/Calc BC. In high school, I was asked by faculty to join a school-sponsored tutoring program for my skill in teaching math.
Please reach out with any questions you might have about my experience. My scheduling is very flexible, and I look forward to meeting with you!
