My tutoring approach is centered on making French engaging, approachable, and relevant to you. I believe students learn best when they actively use the language, so our lessons will include French conversation to help build confidence, pronunciation, vocabulary, and comprehension. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual level and goals, whether that means improving grades, preparing for an exam, strengthening grammar and writing, or becoming a more confident French speaker.
I have experience tutoring middle and high school students and tutored privately throughout high school. My French teacher recommended me to students who were struggling with the language, and through our work together, they were able to significantly improve their scores. I strive to create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and truly understanding the material rather than simply memorizing it.
Throughout high school, I maintained an A+ in French, earned a 5 on the AP French Language and Culture Exam, served as President of the French Honor Society, and received a Gold Medal on the National French Exam (Le Grand Concours). I’m excited to share my love of French and help each student build their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the language!
