I also spent a year helping middle school French learners strengthen their conversational skills through informal, discussion-based sessions. My approach combines structure with creativity, using music, film, and pop culture to make lessons engaging and culturally relevant.
Additionally, I’ve worked with children ranging from toddlers to those aged 10 at a local YMCA, which has helped me develop a supportive and adaptable teaching style well-suited to younger learners. In Art History, I assist students with writing, visual analysis, and understanding complex course material. My academic work included a senior thesis on the visual language of Impressionism in cinema, and I enjoy helping students connect artworks to broader cultural and historical ideas.
