I’m an incoming law student with first-hand experience with the law school application process. My goal is to help aspiring law students with all parts of the application process, from LSAT tutoring to essay writing.
For LSAT Tutoring: my approach is to be adaptive to each student — everyone learns differently, and my goal is to understand your learning style, where you struggle, and what I can do to help you reach your target score. In our introductory session, we’ll focus on getting a clear understanding of these and begin forming a study plan. In each subsequent session, we’ll spend time on areas you’re struggling with, reviewing questions together and working towards gaining complete understanding of the test content.
For Essay Editing: I can support with all stages of the process, from brainstorming topics to stylistic edits. A successful law school application requires a cohesive personal story, and I understand that fine-tuning that story can be an iterative and frustrating process. To help you, I’d like to understand where in the process you are at, and provide the type of feedback you are looking for.
My Qualifications: I have experience tutoring a variety of subjects for younger students. Additionally, I’ve tutored and provided essay feedback to several of my peers who have been successful in their application processes. Personally, I’ve scored a 175 on the LSAT starting from a 160 diagnostic, and gained admission to multiple T-14 schools with independently written statements.
